Course description: Basics of management and administration necessary for the proper functioning of a social organization.

Required experience and qualifications:

• PhD in public administration or another relevant field
• Knowledge of the social and solidarity economy sector in Ontario and/or Quebec
• Practical experience working within NGOs, social economy enterprises or cooperatives (a plus)
• Passive proficiency in the second official language
• Sensitivity to multiple differences (including abilities, genders, and cultures) and to students' concerns.
• Proficiency with both in-person and online learning tools
• Participate in three scheduled teaching meetings with members of the teaching team of the School of Social Innovation during the term
