Located in Bracebridge, reporting to the Manager, School College Partnerships, the incumbent develops and delivers Electrical Trade Practices (ELEC1013) in the dual credit program.
Students explore the various hand tools and power tools that are used for a variety of electrical installations. Students practice installation procedures and wiring methods for electrical equipment and electrical devices found in residential applications. Electrical installation projects include lighting and receptacle circuits, appliance outlets, smoke detection and carbon monoxide detection devices. All wiring projects are completed in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code.
Acceptable proof of education (degrees, credentials) from recognized post-secondary institutions or confirmation of international equivalencies will be required as part of the selection process.
