Job summary

Advantage Solutions in Halifax is seeking a part-time team member to help shape shopping experiences by engaging customers and bringing brands to life through live events and sampling in local communities.

You will contribute to driving sales, interact with customers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner, and work 2-3 shifts per week including weekends. Training is provided and growth opportunities exist within the company.

About you

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Available to work 2-3 shifts per week, including weekends
• Can lift up to 23 kilograms on a regular basis and stand for up to 6 hours
• Perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
• Are comfortable preparing, cooking, and cleaning work area and equipment
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
