Job summary

The UBC Physical Therapy and Research Clinic, a student-led, fee-for-service clinic under the Department of Physical Therapy in the Faculty of Medicine, seeks a part-time Physical Therapist to assess and treat patients and maintain a robust caseload for student clinical placements.

The candidate must demonstrate a strong focus on providing an optimal clinical experience for patients, with independence in clinical practice and adherence to established guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages own caseload, providing comprehensive Physical Therapy services (assessment, diagnosis, treatment/appropriate management, onward referral, and discharge) to a complex range of patients/clients.
• Communicates with referring physicians and other health care professionals regarding clients’ needs.
• Collaborates on relevant quality improvement and clinic initiatives as requested.
