Neighbourly Pharmacy, Canada's largest pharmacy network, is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant at Rocky IDA Pharmacy in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. You will support pharmacists, assist with entering and labeling prescriptions, and help maintain inventory in a busy community setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is preferred.
• Experience in a pharmacy is an asset; on-the-job training provided.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift boxes occasionally.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and technicians in patient care.
• Greet customers and handle phone calls professionally.
• Enter, label, and package prescriptions under supervision.
• Count, measure, and package medications per protocols.
• Receive, stock, and rotate inventory; assist audits.
• Keep the pharmacy area clean; dispose of expired meds and waste.
• Perform clerical tasks: filing, faxing, scanning, insurance claims.
• Assist daily operations and other duties as assigned.
