Brightshores Health System in Owen Sound is seeking a part-time Registered Practical Nurse for the Operating Room to assess perioperative patient needs and support nursing activities with safe and efficient use of equipment.

You will collaborate with the OR team, scrub in all services, adhere to ORNAC standards, remain flexible for on-call and 20-minute hospital access, and contribute to patient safety and outcomes.

Competenze

• Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses.
• Operating Room certificate completed, with OR experience preferred.
• Ability to scrub in all services.
• Knowledge of ORNAC standards.
• Adaptable to a rapidly changing work environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willing to take call and reach hospital within 20 minutes.
• Demonstrated problem solving, organization and decision making.
• Commitment to Brightshores’ values and patient safety.
