Job summary

Medicine Hat College invites applications for a Part-Time Instructor in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The successful candidate will support student learning in community and clinical settings, and contribute to the development and delivery of lab guides, student learning plans, clinical activities, placements, and evaluations.

This term appointment runs ASAP to December 2026 (with possibility of extension) and provides 216 hours for the term.

Qualifications

• Significant experience supporting student learning in community and clinical environments.
• Development and delivery of lab guides, student learning plans, clinical learning activities, student placements, and clinical evaluations.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within the full scope of the role, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support curriculum implementation, and contribute to program planning, quality improvement and laboratory resource coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support student learning in community and clinical environments.
• Develop and deliver lab guides, learning plans, clinical activities and student placements.
• Coordinate curriculum implementation, program planning, quality improvement and laboratory resource coordination.
• Provide immediate support to students, faculty and program operations.
