Job summary

Securitas Canada Limited in Winnipeg is seeking a Part-Time Mobile Officer to join our security team. The role emphasizes on-site and mobile patrols to ensure the safety of client property and personnel, and to respond to incidents with professional judgment.

The position offers routine on-site shifts with training opportunities, uniform provided, and ongoing learning to support career growth within a leading global security provider.

Qualifications

• Must have valid provincial Security Guard License.
• Must have valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• 1+ years of security experience (preferred).
• Working knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Able to walk, stand, and conduct patrols.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
• Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
• Preserves order and may enforce regulations and directives for the site.
• Controls access to client site through the admittance process.
• Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for hazards, unauthorized persons, and security violations.
• Provides excellent customer service while minimizing risk to client property and assets.
• Monitors intrusion detection systems and video surveillance.
• Uses computer systems to monitor sites and complete basic trainings.
• Protects evidence or scene of incident during emergencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• - Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property, assets, and personnel.
• - Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
• - Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
• - Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process.
• - Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
• - Satisfies client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client property and assets.
• - Monitors intrusion detection systems using automated alarm and video monitoring software.
• - Uses computer systems and software to monitor sites and complete basic trainings.
• - Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• - Must have valid provincial Security Guard License
• - Must have valid driver's license with no restrictions
• - Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
• - 1 or more years of security experience (preferred)
• - Working knowledge of security operations and procedures
• - Excellent organizational skills
• - Able to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
• - Basic computer skills such as the ability to use Microsoft Office.
• - Able to walk, stand, and conduct patrols

Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 2300-0700
