The Opportunity

PART-TIME MERCHANDISER - VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN ONTARIO - APPROX. 4-10 HOURS / WEEK - MUST HAVE ACCESS TO RELIABLE VEHICLE

Position Summary

Encore Market Engagement is looking for part-time merchandisers for a global beverage company. This will be a contract position for the summer, starting late June to September 8th, approximately 4-10 hours per week and including holiday days.

What You Will Be Doing Every Day

• Replenishing and merchandising our client’s products throughout your stores during targeted days and hours.
• Transporting products between the backroom/storage room and front-of-store with manual equipment (hand/pump truck).
• Traveling to 2 or 3 stores per shift in your designated territory.
• Completing online administration related to the work performed, including submitting photographs.

Additional Expectations

Availability to work various days from Friday to Sunday, 3-6 hours per week, with flexible times in-store.

Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and position products weighing up to 50 lbs (22 kg) above shoulder height without assistance.

Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for the role.

Ability to push and pull manual equipment (pallet jack, hand/pump truck) containing product loads for at least 100 yards without assistance (training and safety shoes provided).

Capability to grasp and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.

Cellular phone with a working camera for communication, including sending pictures and texts.

Your Experience

Previous merchandising experience, preferably in grocery or retail channels, is ideal. However, we are open to training the right candidates who share our values.
