The Opportunity: PART-TIME MERCHANDISER - VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN ONTARIO- APPROX. 4-10 HOURS / WEEK - MUST HAVE ACCESS TO RELIABLE VEHICLE

Position Summary:

Encore Market Engagement is looking forpart-time merchandisers for a global beverage company. This will be a contract position for the Summer starting late June to September 8th - approx. 4-10 hours/weekand Holiday days.

What You Will Be Doing Every Day:

• Replenishing and merchandising our client’s products throughout your stores during targeted days and hours

• Transporting products between the backroom/storage room to front-of-store with manual equipment (hand/pump truck)

• There could be travel to 2 or 3 stores per shift in your designated territory

• Completing some on-line administration related to the work you completed, including submitting photographs

A few other things we’ll expect from you:

• Must be available to work various days Friday to Sunday, every week 3-6 hours per week - times in store may vary.

• Must be able to repetitively lift, carry and position product (weighing up to 50 lbs or 22 kg) above shoulder height without assistance

• Full access to a reliable vehicle which is appropriately insured for the role

• Must be able to push and pull manual equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand/pump truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance (Training and an allowance for safety shoes is provided)

• Must be able to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination

• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time

• Have a cellular phone with a working camera to communicate - send pictures/texts

Your Experience:
Ideally, you have previous merchandising experience, preferably in the grocery/retail channel. If not don’t worry, as long as you share the same values, we can teach you all you need to know once you’re on board.
