Job summary

MCA - Merchandising Consultants Associates is seeking reliable Merchandising Representatives for a Direct Store Delivery program in Prince George, BC. This on-site role involves stocking, merchandising, and data collection in busy big-box retail environments.

The position is an independent contractor role with shifts that include mornings, afternoons, and weekends. Steel-toed boots are required, and candidates must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with safety and organization in mind.
• Willingness to lift, bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods, with steel-toed footwear on site.

Responsibilities

• Stock and replenish products after DSD deliveries.
• Rotate products to ensure freshness and quality.
• Build and maintain displays and promotional signage.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages.
• Process damaged, expired, and unsaleable products.
• Ensure shelves are neat and ready for customers.
• Use smartphone apps to collect data, take photos, and complete reports.

Merchandising Consultants Associates

Location: Prince George, BC

Job Type: Independent Contractor

Wage: $20 per hour + potential for bonus

Schedule: Multiple shift times available, including early mornings, afternoons, and weekends

About the Role

At MCA, we take pride in being a leading Canadian Merchandising Company, providing top-notch services to Retailers and Consumer Packaged Goods companies across North America.

We are currently looking for reliable, energetic Merchandising Representatives to support a leading manufacturer's Direct Store Delivery (DSD) program in big box retail stores. In this role, you will work directly with the client's products after they have been delivered to the store, maintaining organized, well-stocked shelves and displays that support sales.

This is a fast-paced, physical role in a busy retail environment where multiple vendors, store employees, and deliveries happen simultaneously. Being able to work safely, stay organized, and communicate effectively is essential. Steel toed shoes/boots are required on site.
