Job summary

Choices Market in South Surrey is hiring a Part-Time Meat Cutter to join our team. You will cut, trim and prepare meat and fish cuts, and help keep displays stocked and appealing.

The ideal candidate is experienced in meat cutting, friendly, service-oriented, hardworking, a good team player, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and able to stand all day. You must be comfortable working in a cold environment and available for at least one weekend day. Wage is $22.75/hr.

Qualifications

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing all day.

Responsibilities

• cutting, trimming and preparing a variety of meat and fish cuts
• ensuring shelves and displays are fully stocked and well presented
• managing inventory and ensuring consistent high quality
• ensuring items on sale are well represented on shelves and in displays
• responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries
• cleaning retail areas and workspaces on a daily basis
