Qualifications

• Graduated from a recognized practical nursing program.
• Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Ability to perform nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Strong communication skills with patients, families and team members.
• Experience in collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and contribute to the development of the care plan.
• Provide nursing care per identified policies, procedures and standards.
• Document and report observations to designated staff and update care records.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers per policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients/residents and staff.
• Support orientation and training for new staff, students and other team members.
