Job summary

GDI Services (Canada) LP is seeking a light duty cleaner to perform floor cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, washroom and kitchenette cleaning, and waste collection across assigned sites. This part-time role will support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients and staff.

Candidates should be reliable, capable of following directions, and possess attention to detail with the stamina to work with standard cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to take direction with minimal supervision and work cooperatively as part of a team.
• Requires attention to detail, pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment; auto scrubbers an asset.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships, listen intently, and utilize clear & transparent communication.
• Participate in all training as required.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations as outlined by the Company.
• Sweep/dry mop, and wash/buff floors and stairwells using manual and power scrubbing equipment.
• Vacuum carpets and matting in offices and common areas; spot clean and shampoo rugs as directed.
• Maintain and operate floor machines, vacuums, automatic scrubbers and buffers.
