Qualifications

Graduate of an approved Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Phlebotomy experience is an asset.
ECG training or experience is an asset.
Excellent computer skills and accurate data entry ability.
Strong customer/patient service and ability to stay calm under pressure.
Commitment to privacy and confidentiality in handling patient information.

Responsibilities

Greet and inform patients, verify information, and ensure proper test protocol.
Perform phlebotomies, connect/disconnect holter monitors, and ECG tracings.
Conduct special test collections and complete related documentation.
Maintain client relationships and respond to inquiries.
Enter patient demographics and requisition data accurately.
Prepare specimens for transportation and testing.
