Job summary

Great Canadian Entertainment is seeking a motivated Kitchen Steward to assist in casino kitchen operations. You will maintain cleanliness of all kitchen spaces, equipment, dishes, glasses and cookware while upholding safety and hygiene standards.

Under supervision, you will support the team, handle basic food prep as needed, and contribute to a welcoming work environment. Prior experience and a background check are part of the process.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of work experience is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes and utensils; loads dishwasher.
• Inspects loads for cleanliness and re-washes if needed.
• Reports malfunctions or discrepancies to supervisor.
• Cleans kitchen areas, floors and workspaces.
• Assists with receiving and stocking of goods; helps with food prep as requested.
