Job summary

SarniaCareers is recruiting a Part-Time Dishwasher for the Landmark Village Seniors Living Home in Sarnia, ON. The role focuses on maintaining clean dishes and a safe, sanitary kitchen environment. Responsibilities include proper handling of cleaning chemicals, adherence to hygiene routines, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.

Shifts include weekends, evenings and holidays. The ideal candidate will have food safety training and strong teamwork and communication skills to contribute

Qualifications

• Food safety training and WHMIS knowledge required.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas in accordance with procedures and hygiene requirements.
• Ensure all dishes and cutlery are clean and sanitized.
• Use chemicals safely as prescribed.
• Wash pots, pans, inserts and clean kitchen equipment as scheduled.
• Restock and place dishes correctly in kitchen and serving areas.
• Remove debris and keep kitchen areas clean and organized.
• Keep floors swept and mopped as scheduled.
• Assist with prep work as required.
• Work varied shifts including weekends, evenings and holidays.
