Job summary

Rocky View Schools (RVS) invites applications for a part-time Kindergarten teaching position (approx. 0.50 FTE) starting August 27, 2026 at Ralph McCall School in Airdrie, Alberta. The role serves K-5 students and requires an Alberta Teaching Certificate eligibility.

Applicants should be prepared to provide references and a current Criminal Record Check within 30 days of hire. This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate.
• New/Recent Graduates Only: In lieu of a reference letter please submit your final practicum report.
• External Applicants must provide a professional letter of reference, from their most recent supervisor, on company letterhead, signed and dated within 18 months; or provide updated references.
• The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of start.
