Job summary

Saint Benedict Parish is seeking a part-time SBP Kids Ministry Coordinator to provide vision and leadership for SBP Kids, building healthy teams and equipping leaders to foster a welcoming, faith-filled environment for children and families.

Working with the Pastoral Director and Children’s Ministry Activator, you will recruit, coach and support leaders; develop curricula and plans; and ensure alignment with the parish vision while coordinating weekend and after-school programming, events, and

Qualifications

Strong faith in Jesus and ability to lead volunteer teams.
Experience in children's ministry or faith-based programming is helpful.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Recruit and maintain a healthy volunteer team for SBP Kids.
Train and equip leaders to run weekly programs.
Develop annual SBP Kids curriculum for Sundays and events.
Oversee VBS planning and execution with Activator.
Coordinate SBP Kids on Sundays (9am and 11:30am).
Plan The Encounter program (Mondays 7:00–8:30 pm).
Manage Church Suite schedules and volunteer rosters.
Ensure leader background checks are current.
Plan family events and manage registration for Epiphany, Pentecost, All Saints, Christmas.
Create content for Bene Dictus, parish website and social media.
Communicate program updates to families via multiple channels.
Provide oversight to the Activator and ministry teams.
