Job summary

Langford Community Church is seeking a part-time Children and Youth Coordinator to lead our Sunday morning children’s ministry and nursery, and to run a twice-a-month youth gathering. You will recruit volunteers, plan lessons on RaiseUpfaith.com, and coordinate materials for Kids’ church.

Ten hours per week with salary commensurate with experience; you will meet with the Pastor to align ministry activities and mentor volunteers who are already active in these ministries.

Qualifications

• Committed follower of Jesus with spiritual maturity.
• Bible school training or teaching children about God.
• Able to work independently and flexibly.
• Experience with online platforms and social media.
• Willing to participate in Langford Community Church life.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Sunday morning children’s ministry and nursery.
• Coordinate lessons on RaiseUpfaith.com.
• Schedule teachers and confirm weeks.
• Gather and supply materials; recruit teachers for Kids’ church.
• Participate in Kids’ church teaching rotation.
• Plan and run youth gatherings twice a month.
• Meet with the Pastor to coordinate ministry activities.
