Gabriel Dumont Institute is seeking a Part-Time Instructor for the Practical Nursing Program in Saskatoon to cover a leave replacement from Fall 2026 to November 2027. You will deliver practical, theoretical and clinical instruction to adult students and support them in long-term and acute care settings.

The role requires an RN with a nursing degree, CRNS eligibility, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Experience in acute care is an asset.

• Two years of recent acute care experience would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

To provide practical, theoretical and clinical instruction of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Practical Nursing program. Instructor will provide program support for adult students in the areas of long term and acute care settings. Ensure the planning and delivery of nursing skills courses and instructional assistance with labs. Attend scheduled meetings and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a Degree in Nursing. Eligible for registration (active status) with the CRNS, have up to date TLR certificate. Candidates are subject to approval by Saskatchewan Polytechnic. The instructor will have excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Two (2) years of recent acute care experience would be considered an asset.

Remuneration: GDI Faculty 2 pay grid $72,038 – $94,798 (pro-rated for part‑time)

Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Term: Fall 2026 to November 2027
