Part-Time Instructor, Critical Care Nursing, CPL- FHSW

Join to apply for the Part-Time Instructor, Critical Care Nursing, CPL- FHSW role at Humber College.

We are seeking qualified candidates to join our faculty as part-time instructors in Critical Care Nursing. This role involves delivering high-quality education within our Continuing Professional Learning programs, contributing to curriculum development, and fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach courses within the Critical Care Nursing program, reporting to Program Advisors and the Associate Dean.
• Develop and enhance course content, assessments, and learning materials.
• Create a dynamic, inclusive, and innovative classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure program relevance and quality.
• Participate in curriculum and program development activities.

Qualifications:

• Four-year degree or equivalent; Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in good standing.
• Minimum of five years' clinical experience in Critical Care Nursing.
• At least one year of post-secondary teaching experience; clinical educator experience is an asset.
• Ability to teach during scheduled daytime hours, up to 120 hours per cohort.
• Strong technological proficiency and industry knowledge.

Additional Information:

• Part-time contract from July to December 2024.
• Location: North Campus, hybrid delivery.
