This role is perfect for someone who lights up when talking about math, enjoys working with students, and finds satisfaction in helping them build confidence and master challenging concepts. It is a fantastic opportunity for future educators, math enthusiasts, university students, or anyone considering a career in teaching to gain meaningful experience working directly with students.

At Oxford Learning, you won’t just be tutoring. You’ll be mentoring students, inspiring confidence, and helping them discover that math can actually make sense (and even be fun!). The best part? No lesson planning required. All lessons are fully prepared through our proprietary methodology, so you can focus on what matters most: teaching, connecting with students, and making an impact.

Position Requirements

All Teacher‑Tutors work during after‑school and evening hours (3:00 pm – 8:00 pm) and some Saturdays (9:00 am – 1:00 pm). A commitment until the end of the school year is preferred, with summer and the coming school year even better. Reliability and in‑person availability are a must. This role is in‑person; you must be able to commute to the Oakville location (no relocation package). Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory. Applicants must reside in or within a short commute of the Oakville area.

  • Strong English written and oral communication skills
  • Strong math skills and ability to guide students’ understanding
