Job summary

RONA in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking a capable supervisor to lead our front-line teams in delivering outstanding customer service. You will supervise frontend staff, manage cash operations, and ensure store standards are met while supporting a friendly shopping environment.

The role emphasizes training new associates, coaching on company programs, and daily opening/closing procedures. Candidates with retail and team-supervision experience will thrive in our collaborative, community-focused store.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience.
• 1 year of experience in team supervision.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Supervise frontend staff to ensure service standards are maintained.
• Oversee register coverage and store supply usage.
• Provide refunds and monitor cash drawer amounts.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers and addressing issues.
• Understand, train and promote company programs and initiatives (Pro, RPP, financing, survey, fundraising).
• Train and mentor new associates.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
