Position: Part Time Faculty II Instructor – Continuing Care Assistant Program

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide practical and theoretical instruction of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Continuing Care Assistant Certificate program.
  2. Support students academically.
  3. Plan and deliver classes and labs.
  4. Evaluate student performance.
  5. Provide academic guidance.
Qualifications:
  1. Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with a degree in Nursing Education or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  2. Eligible for registration (active status) with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association or the Registered Psychiatric Nurses’ Association of Saskatchewan.
  3. At least two years of recent/relevant work experience, including gerontology, home care, and special care.
  4. Up-to-date TLR, CPR Level C with AED, PART, and WHMIS certifications.
  5. Experience in adult education and instruction.
  6. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  7. Ability to work with diverse equity groups.
  8. Experience in long-term care is an asset.
Remuneration:

$72,038 – $94,798
