Job summary

Onni Property Management Services Ltd is seeking a Part-Time Porter to join our property management team in Canada. The role features a 4-day work week with 6 hours per week, focusing on building cleanliness and upkeep across our sites.

You will perform duties including litter pickup, lobby and entrance cleaning, vacuuming, laundry room cleaning, and coordinating with residents and contractors as needed. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20–$22, a comprehensive benefits package, and

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A keen eye for detail is necessary to ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly.
• Efficiently managing your time to complete tasks within established schedules is essential.
• Basic communication skills are needed to understand instructions and interact with residents.

Responsibilities

• Litter pickup around exterior and interior of buildings.
• Ability to use battery powered vacuums for vacuuming/cleaning of the lobby and main entrances to the lobby.
• Vacuuming/cleaning of all entrances/stairwells.
• Cleaning of all lobby glass & mirrors (doors/windows etc.).
• Cleaning of the laundry room and adjoining washroom.
• Checking the garbage container for over-flow and keeping the area around the container clear and refuse.
• Sweeping and vacuuming storage rooms, work shops and electrical room
• Clean up of all refuse and debris on grounds and sweep exterior entrances.
• Clean and wipe down elevator control board, including elevator tracks.
• Cleaning of suites on turnover and /or when necessary.
• Clean up after contractors if necessary.
• Thorough cleaning of laundry rooms, appliances and sinks.
• Damp wipe elevator walls, frames and doors.
• Damp wipe all fire doors and stairwell doors.
• Waxing laundry and washroom floors.
• Pulling out laundry machines and cleaning behind them including washer drums.
• Be proactive in alerting management with any on site issues.
• Ability to work on an assigned schedule but flexibility to adjust schedule based on business needs.
