North Grenville is seeking a Part Time Facilities Operator to support the Parks, Recreation and Culture Department. The role covers operation and maintenance of facilities, ice making equipment, and event setup for bookings.
The incumbent will assist with staff directions, uphold health and safety policies, and maintain logs and incident reports. Evening and weekend work may be required while serving the community’s needs.
North Grenville is a growing municipality located in eastern Ontario housing a unique blend of small-town and rural culture. Comprised of an urban center (Kemptville) and surrounded by several charming rural hamlets, North Grenville is situated between Canada’s National Capital – Ottawa and the St. Lawrence River, only a 30-minute drive along the Veterans Memorial Highway (416), to either destination.
Reporting to the Facilities Lead Hand, the Facilities Operator assumes responsibility for the operation and maintenance of all facilities under the Facilities Division of the Parks, Recreation and Culture Department. The Operator assists with providing day-to-day direction for full-time, part-time, casual, seasonal and contract staff.
The salary for this position starts at $29.76 per hour.
