Job summary

Oxford Learning Brantford North is seeking a part-time Elementary Teacher/Tutor to support students in English and language studies after school hours. You will teach up to three students at different levels, both online and in-person, following Oxford Learning methodologies and pre-planned lessons.

A strong background in language education and a passion for helping students succeed is essential. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and teaching certification is an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Fourth year university students with tutoring exp considered.
• Teaching certification an asset.
• Strong knowledge of the K-9 curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels.
• Teaching online and in-person.
• Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Filling in post-lesson notes.
• Maintaining a friendly and professional manner.
