Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized post-secondary certificate or vocational certificate in child care/development or behaviour management with practicum experience working with students with special needs
• Experience in an Inclusive learning environment is an asset

Responsibilities

• Provides educational instruction for students and supports students with accessing technology
• Participates in planning IPP goals and revising them with the learning team
• Communicates with parents and learning team members about student progress
• Maintains confidentiality and supports student self-esteem and independence
• Assists with personal care and ensures student safety and dignity
• Performs other related duties as required
