Job summary

Prairie South Schools in Moose Jaw is seeking an Educational Assistant at Sunningdale School. This permanent, part-time (.50 FTE) position runs 8:20 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.

and involves supporting students with diverse and/or high behavioural needs in a school setting. Requirements include Grade 12 diploma, at least one year of related post-secondary training, and a valid Class 5 driver's license. The wage range is $22.49–$26.43 per hour under CUPE Local 5512, with standard collective agreement

Qualifications

• A minimum of Grade 12 diploma from a recognized educational institution as approved by the Board of Education or GED
• A minimum of one (1) year post-secondary training related to student needs such as Educational Assistant, Early Childhood Development, Youth Worker or Rehabilitation Worker (training must be from a recognized educational institution as approved by the Employer)
• A valid Class 5 drivers license

Responsibilities

• Duties include supporting students with diverse needs and/or high behavioural needs, in addition to duties outlined in the job description.
