Job summary

The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka is seeking a part-time Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team in Collingwood. You will care for children, plan play-based learning, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment while engaging with families.

Applicants must be 18+, hold or be eligible for CECE registration, and have current First Aid/CPR (Level C) or complete within 90 days. Flexibility with shifts and commitment to community well-being are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) or be willing to obtain registration.
• Minimum 18 years of age and valid First Aid/CPR (Level C) or complete within 90 days.
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check and immunizations as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and ensure safety in a group setting up to 15 children.
• Plan and implement play-based learning following YMCA Curriculum.
• Maintain positive communication with families, staff and volunteers.
• Promote inclusive environments and adapt to children's needs.
