Manitoulin Transport is hiring for a dockworker in the Prince George area. The role involves loading and unloading trailers, distributing freight to P&D vehicles, and maintaining a clean yard and warehouse. Lifting up to 50 lbs and forklift experience are required.

Work is scheduled Tuesday to Saturday with early start times, and safety policies must be followed. Competitive wages start up to CAD 23.52 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for advancement through our

Job Description

Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers. Distribute freight to P&D trailers and trucks. Document overages, shortages, and damages; reweigh and cube freight as required. Keep the yard and warehouse clean. Heavy repeated lifting required. Ability to follow Health & Safety and Company policies safely. Responsible for claim-free Movement and sorting of freight.

Tuesday to Saturday, starting at 6:00 AM. Tuesday to Friday, work hours vary from 2 to 4 hours, and Saturday hours of work vary from 4 to 8 hours to meet customers' needs.

Qualifications

• Must work well with others and take direction
• Be physically fit and lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
• Must have forklift experience
• Able to solve problems when they arise
