Terrace Lodge, operated by the County of Elgin, is seeking a Part-time Dietary Aide to assist with basic food preparation and support the Cook in a safe, sanitary environment.

You will serve meals, set and clear tables, and handle goods for the dietary department while maintaining accurate records. The County offers competitive pay under the collective agreement and flexible scheduling opportunities.

Formación

• Completion or enrollment in a Food Service Worker program meeting the requirements of the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021.
• Current Food Handling Certificate.
• A passion for serving others and providing quality care.
• Cook or culinary management diploma is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Basic food preparation and assisting the Cook where needed.
• Handle food in accordance with safety and sanitary regulations.
• Serve meals, set and clear tables, and receive goods for the dietary department.
• Maintain accurate records and keep a safe, sanitary work environment.
