Job summary

Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant with a minimum of 6 months within the last 2 years of cumulative clinical experience to provide services to our federal client in Warkworth, ON.

The role involves preparing the treatment area, sterilizing instruments, assisting chairside, and providing oral health education. You will also handle emergencies with First Aid/CPR and monitor supplies to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• License by the appropriate governing body for the province where services will be provided.
• Minimum of six months experience as a dental assistant providing intra-oral care within the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the treatment area, cleans and sterilizes instruments, assist chairside, prepare restorative materials
• Provide oral health education
• Assess emergencies and follow emergency protocols, provide First Aid and CPR
• Conduct spore/biological indicator tests
• Monitor supplies
