Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to support our federal client in Warkworth, ON. The ideal candidate has a provincial license and at least 6 months of intra-oral experience within the last two years.

Responsibilities include preparing the treatment area, assisting chairside, sterilizing instruments, and providing oral health education. Must be able to handle emergencies and CPR, and conduct indicator tests as required.

Qualifications

• License by the provincial governing body for dental services.
• Minimum of six months intra-oral care experience within the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment area, sterilize instruments, assist chairside, and prepare materials.
• Provide oral health education to patients.
• Assess and respond to emergencies; perform First Aid and CPR per protocols.
• Conduct spore/biological indicator tests and monitor supplies.
