Job summary

Giant Tiger is seeking a friendly Store Associate (Part-Time) in Picton, Ontario. You will support customers, operate cash registers, and help maintain attractive product displays at the checkout area.

This role involves a mix of day, evening, and weekend shifts with 24 hours weekly for part-time staff. You’ll join a team that values hard work, accuracy, and a positive shopping experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks and maintaining accuracy under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high level of customer service.
• Record customer transactions on cash registers, mainline and SCOs.
• Replenish merchandise around checkout areas and maintain signage and planograms.
• Follow up on hot selling items, complete markdowns and SKU changes as needed.
• Perform cycle counts and ensure health and safety policies are followed.
• Maintain a clean checkout area and adhere to loss prevention practices.
