Job summary

Baker Tilly KDN LLP is seeking a part-time Jr. Cloud Accounting Specialist to join our team in Courtice or Peterborough.

You will assist with routine bookkeeping for multiple clients using cloud-based tools such as QuickBooks Online, Dext, and Plooto, and support bank reconciliations and month-end activities under guidance. We’re looking for a college diploma in bookkeeping, accounting, business administration, or a related field, plus familiarity with QuickBooks Online.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a college diploma in bookkeeping, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of bookkeeping concepts with an eye for accuracy.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or similar software is an asset; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine bookkeeping for multiple clients using cloud tools like QuickBooks Online, Dext and Plooto.
• Enter and organize client transactions and supporting documents accurately and on time.
• Support reconciliations, payroll processing, and basic financial reports under supervision.
• Follow documented procedures and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
