Job summary

MNP in Markham, Ontario, is seeking a capable cloud bookkeeping professional to manage a portfolio of Canadian clients, handling bookkeeping, A/P, month-end close, sales tax filings, and management reporting.

You will prepare monthly financial analysis, participate in client discussions via Zoom/Teams, and ensure timely responses; CPA/CPB preferred, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Xero.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle cloud bookkeeping or accounting for a portfolio of 10+ clients.
• CPA or CPB is preferred.
• Experience with bank reconciliations, sales tax filings, payables and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Handle bookkeeping, accounts payable, month-end/quarter-end close, and sales tax filings for Canadian clients.
• Prepare monthly or quarterly financial analysis and reporting; participate in client discussions via Zoom/Teams.
• Respond to client queries within 1 business day.
• Prepare year-end financial statements and working papers; propose adjusting entries.
