Job summary

Conestoga College is seeking qualified part-time clinical instructors for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing - Honours program. Candidates must be a Registered Nurse with current CNO registration and have relevant clinical experience, preferably in long-term care or gerontological settings.

Courses are delivered in person with some off-site clinical experiences within the Kitchener-Waterloo-C Cambridge region.

Qualifications

BScN required; master’s preferred.
Current RN with CNO registration in good standing.
Minimum four years of clinical nursing experience in relevant settings.
Experience teaching, preceptoring or mentoring nursing students preferred.
Ability to work independently and within academic/clinical environments.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical instruction, supervision, and evaluation of BScN students.
Integrate theory, evidence-informed practice, clinical reasoning, and professional standards.
Ensure clear learning outcomes, expectations, evaluation processes, and professional responsibilities.
Monitor student performance and maintain accurate records.
Provide feedback, coaching, and mentorship to support student growth.
Foster an inclusive learning environment respecting diversity.
Collaborate with clinical partners, faculty, and staff to support student success.
Utilize eConestoga/D2L to access materials and communicate with students.
