Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean of Canada is seeking a Part-Time evening janitorial technician in the Fredericton area. The role covers multiple sites within Fredericton North; you must have your own transportation and be able to drive to each site after shifts.

Shifts include Sunday 11:00am–7:00pm and weekdays evenings with potential for more hours. Candidates should be reliable, able to work independently or with others, speaking English, and able to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and transportation to/from the jobsite.
• Reliability is essential.
• Experience in janitorial work is an asset but not required.
• Flexible with hours and able to stay late/come early if required.
• Able to work independently and with others.
• Able to pass a police background check and security clearances as required.
• Able to communicate in English (spoken and written).
• Able to work at multiple locations throughout Fredericton.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping and mopping floors.
• Disinfecting touch points.
• Vacuuming.
• Cleaning and disinfecting washrooms.
• Dusting and general cleaning duties.
• Garbage removal.
• This job has physical demands (bending, lifting, etc.).
• Assist coworkers as needed.

We are currently looking for a cleaning technician in Fredericton area that can work in a fast-paced environment that have their own means of transportation to and from job sites all located in Fredericton North.

Please note these hours consist of a few different sites, which the successful applicant would be required to drive themselves to each site.

Shifts Would Be

• Sunday’s – 11:00am – 7:00pm
• Monday’s – 6pm – 8pm
• Tuesday’s – 6pm – 8pm
• Wednesday’s – 6pm – 10pm
• Thursday’s – 6pm – 8pm
• Potential to add more hours

The Successful Candidates Are Required To Have The Following

• Have a valid driver’s license & transportation to/from the jobsite.
• Reliability is key to being the successful candidate.
• Experience in Janitorial work would be considered an asset, but not necessary.
• Be flexible with hours, willing to stay late/come early if required.
• Able to work independently & around people
• Be able to provide a police background check and willing to complete security clearances as required.
• Able to take direction well, and able to work independently.
• Able to communicate in English both verbally and written.
• Be able to work various locations throughout the city
• Be energetic and able to perform duties within time frames
• Have an eye for detail cleaning

Job Duties Would Include But Not Limited To.

Building Cleaning.

• Sweeping/Mopping

Compensation: $17.00 per hour
