Job summary

Manitoulin Transport is seeking a part-time Class 1 driver for the Medicine Hat location. The role requires planning, loading and unloading trailers and delivering freight to customers in the Medicine Hat area. Work schedule is 4 days per week, 10 hours per day, with a 6 AM start.

Ideal candidates will hold a Class 1 license, TDG/WHMIS certification and forklift experience are assets. The candidate should be physically fit, reliable, and able to provide a criminal record check, driver abstract,

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 license required.
• 1 year city pickup & delivery experience would be an asset.
• Physically fit, reliable and dependable.
• Must provide a criminal record check, driver abstract, and 2 work-related references.

Responsibilities

• Plan, load and unload trailers and deliver freight to customers in the Medicine Hat area.
• Operate as a part-time driver four days per week, ten hours per day.
• Start time is 6:00 AM daily.

Job Description

• We are seeking a part-time Class 1 driver for our Medicine Hat location. The ideal candidate will serve a well-established customer base.
• Able to plan, load, and unload trailers. Pick up and deliver freight to various customers in the Medicine Hat area.
• 4-days a week, 10 hours a day. Flexibility is required to meet customer needs.
