Job summary

Manitoulin Transport in Whitehorse is hiring a full-time Class 1 driver. Monday to Friday starting at 7:30 am, you will load and unload freight and deliver to a variety of customers.

You will perform daily runs safely and efficiently and should have a Class 1 license, good customer service, ability to lift 50+ pounds, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Class 1 license is required.
• Knowledge of the Whitehorse area is an asset.
• Ability to complete proper pre/post & inter trips.
• Knowledge of ELD, hours of service, load securement, TDG, and WHMIS.
• Must have good customer service skills.
• Must be able to lift over 50 pounds unassisted.
• Must be reliable and hardworking.
• Must provide a clean criminal record check, driver’s abstract, and 2 work references.
