Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures.
• Considerable lifting, reaching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, moving equipment and climbing ladders.
• Exposure to biochemical agents and wet floors.
• Ability to read and write English and follow simple written and verbal instructions in English.
• Work as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects using specified cleaning agents and follows routines, including floors, walls, and furnishings.
• Performs laundry duties and follows established laundry routines.
• Carries out outside work such as snow removal and waste handling when required.
• Ensures privacy of residents during duties and cooperates with other departments.
• Adheres to company policies on quality assurance, fire safety and safety procedures.
• Attends meetings and in-service education programs as assigned.
