Qualifications

• Must have good English communication, both oral and written.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience with standard institutional cleaning techniques.
• Experience in healthcare cleaning and laundry procedures is desirable.
• Ability to meet physical requirements.
• Second language is an asset.
• Provide Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Clean areas per schedules using proper cleaning methods.
• Clean residents' apartments and common areas including fixtures and surfaces.
• Operate floor care machines and steam cleaning equipment.
• Strip, scrub, spray, and buff carpet and floors as needed.
• Dispose of garbage and follow residence policies.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
• Support Quality Improvement and uphold ethics and integrity.
