Job summary

Canna Cabana is seeking part-time shift leaders in Airdrie, Alberta. You will supervise daily operations, guide staff, and ensure top-notch customer service while meeting sales targets. Valid SellSafe certification and 2+ years in retail are required; cannabis experience is preferred. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.

The role offers growth within a growing cannabis retail brand; participate in maintaining standards, safety, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Must have SellSafe Certification.
• Completion of high school and vocational training required.
• Demonstrated sales and service orientation required.
• Minimum of 2 years in retail; cannabis industry preferred.
• First Aid certification is an asset.
• Excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to train and motivate staff.
• Ability to monitor and lead by example as required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily store operations in partnership with store management.
• Oversee Store Manager duties in their absence.
• Assist in personnel management during shifts and resolve issues.
• Provide direction and instruction to store associates.
• Maintain store standards and safety regulations.
• Ensure staffing levels meet business needs during shifts.
• Be the sales and customer service leader when needed.
• Greet and assist customers, modelling exemplary conduct.
• Uphold company policies and health and safety regulations.
• Handle customer complaints and escalate when necessary.
• Achieve sales targets and store KPI’s.
• Oversee inventory processes on shift.
