TorontoJobs.ca Recruitment Division seeks an experienced Canadian Tax Manager for a part-time, primarily in-office role in North York, ON. The position emphasizes review and technical oversight rather than hands-on preparation, collaborating with the owner and tax team to ensure high-quality engagements.

The ideal candidate has strong Canadian taxation expertise and public accounting experience, including T1 and T2 review, and provides guidance to staff. CPA designation preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in Canadian personal and corporate taxation, with public accounting background.
• Ability to review tax returns and financial statements and provide technical guidance to staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Review Canadian corporate tax returns (T2) and personal tax returns (T1).
• Review financial statements and compilation engagements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to tax preparers and junior reviewers.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff as needed.
• Help manage workflow and ensure engagements are completed accurately and on time.
• Contribute to quality control and compliance processes.
