Job summary

FirstService Residential Canada is seeking a Building Manager to oversee day-to-day building operations and deliver an exceptional living experience for tenants. You will coordinate maintenance, supervise contractors, and ensure suites are ready for new tenants while maintaining strong relations with tenants and the Property Manager.

The role requires at least two years in building management, excellent English, and solid communication skills to interact with tenants and staff.

Qualifications

• Two years of Building Manager experience required.
• Excellent written and oral English communication.
• Experience with maintaining building and mechanical systems.
• Strong communication with tenants and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Regular interactions with tenants and the Property Manager to discuss building operations and address concerns.
• Clean common areas to keep them pristine.
• Inspect common building areas and identify required maintenance (mechanical, security, laundry, landscaping).
• Perform minor maintenance and coordinate contractors for major repairs.
• Rent available suites – advertise vacancies, screen applications and complete tenancy paperwork.
• Schedule and supervise move in/out activities and maintain vacancy records.
• Collect and deposit rents and security deposits.
