Job summary

Ethical Profit Agency in Canada is seeking a skilled accountant to manage a variety of accounts payable and receivable transactions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and proficiency in Quickbooks, as well as experience in payroll and attention to detail.

The role includes reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with year-end balancing and HST returns. Candidates should be self-motivated and capable of working independently in a client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations.
• Resolve invoice/bank/receipt discrepancies and variances.
• Verify supporting documentation and approve and post data to appropriate accounts.
• Assist with year-end balancing and reconciliation of accounts and with the preparation of annual returns.
• Preparing, checking, and filing HST returns.

Job description

• Process a variety of accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations
• Resolve invoice/bank/receipt discrepancies and variances
• Verify supporting documentation and approve and post data to appropriate accounts
• Provide input and recommend improvements to all accounting practices and processes, tailored to specific client situations
• Assist with year-end balancing and reconciliation of accounts, and with the preparation of annual returns and documents such as T4’s
• Preparing, checking, and filing HST returns
