Boundary Co-op is hiring a Part-Time Bakery Clerk (minimum 24 hours per week) in the Bakery Department at our Food Store in Killarney, Manitoba.

What you?ll do:

Reporting to the Bakery Manager, the Bakery Clerk is responsible for:

  • Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Boissevain Food Store, Bakery Department;
  • Demonstrating day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety;
  • Product preparation, packaging, pricing and merchandising;
  • Cleaning & Maintenance of Bakery/Deli] Department equipment and work station;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in the retail and:

  • A Grade 12 or combination of relevant experience;
  • Experience in food store/bakery operations is desired but not essential;
  • Available to weekend shifts (essential);
  • You are able to delegate tasks when given multiple tasks at once;
  • You're action oriented, customer focused and work well with other Team Members;
  • You're honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do;
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.

The successful candidate will work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
