The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise, ensure proper pricing, check product date codes, stock shelves, displays, and cases. May prepare perishable products for sale.
• Set up promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain sanitation standards inside and outside the store and parking lot.
• Operate cash registers, handle payments, and process refunds as authorized.
• Verify customer eligibility for alcoholic beverages.
• Assist customers with current store and product information courteously.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Understand instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence and present information clearly to individuals and groups.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions.
• Lift/move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
